The International Relations
Office (IRO) is a part of Cultural Exchange and Public Relations Department of
the University of Thessaly. The main missions of the IRO are the establishment
and implementation of academic cooperation programs with other institutions of
higher education. The services provided include the identification and exchange
of information concerning academic subjects, personnel and culture. The University of Thessaly is an active member of the European University Association (http://www.eua.be) as well as of the Community
of Mediterranean Universities (http://www.geocities.com/comunitauniversitamediterranee).

directory of universities worldwide and tools for the communication between the
international relations offices)
Welcoming
the foreign students in the framework of interacademic agreements or of
exchange programs in or out of Europe
Helping
in setting up european and international administrative and financial projects
of Research
Welcoming
postgraduate students and foreign researchers
Informing
postgraduate students, postdoctorants and researchers about mobility and research
programs
Teachers'
mobility
Helping
in setting up european and international educational plans
